Key Responsibilities & Tasks


Responsible for achieving marketing demand generation and revenue objectives for the Cloud ERP portfolio within the Southeast Asia Go-To-Market plan and priorities.

Accountable for driving demand generation and acceleration by meticulously planning and executing marketing activities, programs, and campaigns.

Additionally, actively collaborate across the entire marketing organization to ensure an optimal return on marketing investment for SAP, emphasizing a holistic approach beyond individual activities.


Strategy Execution

  • Serve as the goto expert on brand experience, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance are maintained across all demand generation and nurturing activities.
  • Guarantee an optimal mix of marketing activities at each stage of the customer journey, emphasizing reusability for SEA countries.
  • Act as a key liaison between marketing and sales, either representing the marketing face to corresponding sales executives or managing the portfolio in alignment with business priorities.

Lead Management

  • Contribute knowledge and insights when collaborating with key business stakeholders on the review and analysis of lead reports.
  • Demonstrate high degree of skill to proactively analyze impact of marketing programs on pipeline health and followup on necessary actions to drive alignment with relevant business stakeholders and manage escalations proactively.

Demand Management

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance the impact of marketing, striving for improved lead quality, higher conversion rates, and optimized campaign processes
  • Develop and execute field marketing strategies for the Cloud ERP portfolio in Southeast Asia to generate demand and accelerate the pipeline effectively
  • Enable sales through highimpact push and pull marketing channels, ensuring optimal return on marketing investment for SAP by looking beyond individual activities and collaborating across the entire marketing organization
  • Leverage digital and traditional channels to create impactful marketing campaigns

Market Research/Analysis

  • In preparation for successful tactic execution, understand the market, competitive landscape and target audience, how to segment and adapt messages, and to optimize campaign tactics.

Data and Performance Management

  • Focus on execution and speed to market to independently document campaign execution and lead management activities in the system of record, including data segmentation tools, CRM, reports, dashboards and scorecards.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement

Agency Management

  • In compliance with SAP procurement policies, identify, engage, and contract suitable (internal/external) agencies to manage respective projects, including related budget and cost.

Field Enablement & relationship management

  • In consistent alignment with business stakeholders, in the development of effective marketing programs and campaign.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing channels
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing team & country marketing team to align program & campaigns with overall marketing objectives

Channel & Ecosystem

  • Understand the importance of different routes to market in order to leverage channels and ecosystem to optimize impact and reach of respective marketing tactics.
  • Consider how to expand the reach of campaigns as well as respective budget optimization through other revenues.

Experience & Language Requirements

  • Minimum 810 years of marketing experience in field marketing or demand generation
  • Working in a multinational company
  • Experience in/with sales
  • Proven experience in field marketing, preferably in the technology or ERP industry
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Datadriven mindset with the ability to analyze marketing metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Project leadership (medium to largescaled projects)
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia as needed

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • MBA/Master's degree or equivalent preferred
