Role Summary:
To provide paralegal support to the Corporate Legal team based in the Singapore headquarters.
Responsibilities:

In this role that you will be responsible for the following:
A
Contracts Management:
i. Manage the Legal Department's contracts, from contract preparation to execution and documentation;
ii. Organise and track open cases;
iii. Maintain legal library of standard templates;
iv. Manage complete record of executed contracts; and
v. Perform related administrative functions.
B. Intellectual Property Management
i. Assist in the management of the organisation's intellectual property ("IP") portfolio in various countries;
iii. Perform general IP research;
iv. Prepare declarations and evidence for IP litigations; and
v. Maintain the database of the organisation's IP.
C. Legal Support
i. Assist in performing basic legal research;
ii. Liaise, develop and maintain close working relationships with other functional members of the relevant business units, corporate functions and overseas offices to ensure observance of the organisation's internal standard operating protocols;
iii. Track and maintain legal expenses; and
iv. Perform special tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A. A Diploma in Law & Management or a Diploma in Paralegal Studies, and knowledge of and experience with handling trademarks and patents will be highly valued;
B. A minimum - 5 years of working experience in in-house legal department(s) or established law firm(s);
C.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of communicating effectively at all levels to both legal and business professionals in English.
A working knowledge of Chinese / Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu will be an added advantage;D. Strong inter-personal skills, and be driven, motivated, resilient and able to work independently and under pressure;
E. Excellent organizational, time-management and follow-up skills with good attention to detail;
F. Integrity and be discreet and able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality; and
