Associate Environmental Consultant

DHI is a global leader in solving the toughest water, climate, and biodiversity related challenges. We seek a confident, outgoing, organized, and selfmotivated environmental professional to help drive our environmental projects forward. The role will be to project manage and provide technical environmental solutions to our clients. The role will involve running several environmental projects at a time and interfacing with clients on a daytoday basis. We are looking for someone who can start soon._

Key Responsibilities

Undertake supervised technical work for coastal and marine environmental monitoring and management projects, including data entry, processing, and numerical modelling
Assist with and contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations
Provide support for other project tasks, administrative duties, and assist with client communication, or as directed by the reporting/line manager

Education and Experience

B.Sc. / B.Eng. from an accredited institution in Environmental Engineering or similar
12 years' working experience in environmental consultancy
Impact assessments and environmental management of coastal / marine construction activities

Knowledge and Skills

Understanding of coastal and marine physicochemical and ecological processes
Understanding of hydrodynamic modelling and impact assessments.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Access, as well as other statistical tools and numerical modelling software
Attention to detail with good verbal, analytical and writing skills, professional presentation and communication competencies
Ability to work well in a team and independently, follow instructions, under pressure and demanding deadlines, in a fastpaced and dynamic environment with multiple projects and various stakeholders
Good cooperative interpersonal skills, working with a wide range of colleagues of diverse backgrounds and nationalities
Selfmotivated, creative, energetic, willing to learn new skills, and a keen interest in research
Ability to work flexibly in response to project needs and deliverables that may occasionally include weekends and public holidays.
