Responsibilities:
Strategic
- Lead the development of the Division's business strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
- Work in partnership with colleagues from other departments and divisions in the development and implementation of effective and efficient operations framework.
- Planning, implementing, promoting and monitoring of operations projects and initiatives that enhance the operations quality (accuracy, stability and productivity) and ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
- Implementing and promoting controls that mitigate the Bank's operations risk.
- Develop recommendations for improvement and streamlining of existing work procedures/processes.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations
- Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Banking Operations products such as Deposit, Remittance, Trade Finance, Loans and Treasury back office
- Minimum JLPT N1 Certification or a degree in Japanese university required to communicate and initiate discussion with native Japanese speaking stakeholders using technical terms in operations and system of banking business.
- Experience in product office and client management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively
- Good communication skills with ability to influence others and promote & drive initiatives
- Strong project management skills, to monitor and manage multiple regional projects on time and within budget.
- Good understanding of local relevant regulations
- Good analytical skills to interpret data sets
- Good organisation skills with attention to detail
- Strong PC skills (MS Office)
