Responsibilities:

Strategic

Lead the development of the Division's business strategy.

Customer

Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
Work in partnership with colleagues from other departments and divisions in the development and implementation of effective and efficient operations framework.

Other/ Control

Planning, implementing, promoting and monitoring of operations projects and initiatives that enhance the operations quality (accuracy, stability and productivity) and ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
Implementing and promoting controls that mitigate the Bank's operations risk.
Develop recommendations for improvement and streamlining of existing work procedures/processes.
Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations
Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience in Banking Operations products such as Deposit, Remittance, Trade Finance, Loans and Treasury back office
Minimum JLPT N1 Certification or a degree in Japanese university required to communicate and initiate discussion with native Japanese speaking stakeholders using technical terms in operations and system of banking business.
Experience in product office and client management.
Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively
Good communication skills with ability to influence others and promote & drive initiatives
Strong project management skills, to monitor and manage multiple regional projects on time and within budget.
Good understanding of local relevant regulations
Good analytical skills to interpret data sets
Good organisation skills with attention to detail
Strong PC skills (MS Office)
