Your field of responsibility
You will be part of the APAC Client Asset Protection Control team based in Singapore office.

Your team supports the APAC Operations and Country Management in driving Client Asset related business analysis, control reviews and testing and monitor the compliance to Client Asset policies.

In partnership with the Business, Line Operations teams, General Counsel, Compliance and Risk teams, your main responsibilities include the following:

  • Define and implement the Client Asset Risk and Control Framework
  • Deliver control improvement plans for APAC Client Asset Protection processes
  • Coordinate Client Asset rules mapping and reviews across Operations and monitor compliance. Record gaps and ensure remediation is tracked through the governance forums
  • Conduct Client Asset related attestations such as Client Nostros Accounts Attestations and Optout Departments Attestations
  • Conduct Process & Control reviews across Operations and support testing requirements of the wider Client Asset Protection team
  • Manage the Client Asset Control Activities Framework (CAF) Controls owned by CAP team
  • Provide support to Compliance to establish Client Asset related policies & training programs
  • Raise awareness of the importance of Client Asset protection by providing adhoc training to Line Operations on APAC Client Asset rules and its key principles
  • Support internal and external audits, reviews, and exams
  • Support delivery for change programs and initiatives
  • Faceoff with external parties or regulatory bodies in demonstrating compliance with the client asset regulations
  • Collaborate and oversee outsourced services including the APAC Client Asset Production and Governance team based in Pune to ensure the governance and control of client asset reconciliation, segregation, and regulatory reporting processes.

Your skills and experience

You are encouraged to possess the below:

  • Degree holder with at least 6-8 years of banking experience in Business Analysis and Operations, Risk & Control or Compliance
  • Strong product knowledge and experience on cleared/OTC derivatives, securities, FX, money market, fixed income and loans is preferred
  • Proven ability to innovate, deliver and inspire change
  • Expert in prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Proactive with strong control attitude, analytical skills with high degree of accuracy
  • Proven written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Adept in simplifying complex issues.
  • Collaborator management across departments and different seniorities
  • Outstanding ability to forge strong working relationships across departments in a global organization
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Preferred but not mandatory, knowledge of client asset processing and/or rules, or experience in governance and control
