This role is responsible for developing the global client base and activities related to enhancing the market presence of the organisation.

Additionally, the role also supports the post-sales and operations department in ensuring the quality of service to clients. The role reports to the business development team lead.


Accountabilities:


  • Researching prospects and generating leads.
  • Preparing and sending quotations and proposals.
  • Handling queries and feedback from existing and prospective clients. Maintaining the client database as per group requirements.
  • Onboarding of new clients.
  • Developing the marketing plans and strategies in liaison with the business development team.
  • Implementing marketing plans.
  • Supporting the client and market engagement initiatives.
  • Support the gathering and analysing of market intelligence and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct client surveys and analysis. Prepare sales and marketing reports.
  • Support operations team in delivering quality service and as required by operational needs.
  • Support finance team in managing Accounts receivables.
  • Any other task as required by management.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in sales and marketing or other related business management stream.
  • Ability/proficiency to use MS office, Google suite, CRM software.

Experience

  • 12 years working experience in sales (B2B) is preferred.
  • Past experience in Maritime sector is advantageous.

Skills

  • Customer service, negotiation, problemsolving, commercial acumen, excellent presentation skills.
