Description
Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).

  • Assist to provide information and handle enquiries from residents and general public on the programmes and services provided by the assigned RCs.
  • Operates the assigned RC centre(s) for at least five days a week.
  • Assist the assigned RC to build up a database of residents within the zones and help monitor their engagement and outreach and to expand customers' base.
  • Assist to promote and market RC membership scheme/activities/courses/events to residents through social media and other new strategies, besides existing channels.
  • Support RC to form and develop Interest Groups, plan and organise activities and courses.
  • Assist to gather residents' feedback and needs on RC programmes.
  • Assist RCs in handling accounting/bookkeeping of RC accounts like collection of fees, issuing of receipts, preparations of monthly statements of account etc.
  • Ensures that confidential documents and reference materials are kept securely and not openly displayed to the public.
  • Ensures that posters at notice board of RC centres and banners displayed are kept uptodate and presentable.
  • Have a good understanding of RC Rules and Regulations.
  • Maintain residents' database on behalf of RC and update periodically. Market RC programmes to residents in this database.
  • Work with RC to ensure that RC Centre is operational at all times during its opening hours.
  • Meet PA Service Standards at all times and any other duties as assigned by the RC.
Administrative Support

  • Performs administrative duties (such as filing, typing, posters designing and despatch of minutes and circulars to GROs) to support the functioning of RC.
  • Attends to requests or enquiries of grassroots leaders and residents when necessary.
  • Liaises with grassroots leaders and reminds members to attend important meetings and functions.
  • Work with RC to plan and prepare publicity materials on RC programmes like house visits, floor/block parties, block dialogues, street parties etc.
  • Provide RC progress updates as and when required to RC, CO or PA HQ.
