Description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the Core Banking projects portfolio, ensuring alignment with project-level planning, budgeting, and other unit plans.

They will also standardize project management practices across the platform in accordance with established principles.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Maintain an uptodate roadmap of core banking initiatives aligned with projectlevel planning, budgeting, and plans of other units.
  • Monitor portfolio progress across schedule, cost, quality, and benefit realization.
  • Standardize project management practices within the Core Banking platform.
  • Develop and maintain toolsets (systems, templates, training) for delivery leads within Core Banking.

Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate meetings and ceremonies to develop plans and prioritization at the platform and program level.
  • Provide support to other Programme Directors, Project Managers, and Scrum Masters as needed.
  • Coordinate project teams, ensuring effective timing and interdependency management.
  • Consolidate and update Programme plan, roadmap, schedule, issues, and risks.
  • Aggregate initiative level progress indicators and visualize them on the PMO Dashboards.
  • Aggregate risks for the PMO Dashboard and ensure the appropriate usage of risk tracking.
  • Track dependencies across initiatives and initiate discussions within the platform.
  • Provide expertise for initiative process, standards, and tools.
  • Create and maintain an information asset storage to keep reference materials up to date.
  • Track program and project metrics to monitor and control performance.
  • Maintain the reporting calendar with reminders to inform contributors.
  • Produce and promote tools, templates, guidelines, etc., to drive standardization of project management practices and ensure compliance with policies.

Requirements:


  • Proven working experience in PMO.
  • Past software delivery experience as a PM or Scrum Master with a good understanding of project management principles and frameworks.
  • Experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful initiative outcomes.
  • Processoriented with strong documentation and collaboration skills.
  • Good analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to support team members to meet overall team objectives.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with stakeholders, seniors, peers, juniors, and vendors.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fastpaced and everchanging organizational context.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).
  • Handson experience with JIRA, Confluence ecosystem as an administrator or power user.
  • Bonus point: Experience with data analysis and ability to build automation scripts around project management data analysis.
