Job Description:

Involved in a research project related to geotechnical engineering, and geoenvironmental engineering
Responsible for developing stateoftheart machine learning algorithms to predict subsurface heterogeneities from sparse data in a datadriven and physicsinformed mannerJob Requirements:
Must hold a Ph.

D. degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field- Excellent programming skills, such as Python, MATLAB, or other competent languages- One or two-year research experience in geotechnical engineering, machine learning, and/or numerical modelling- A good record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences- Proficiency in written and spoken English- Previous experience in proposal writing is a plus
