- Designing and developing system architecture, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, IO maps, PLC codes, panel layouts, and PCB boards for automation machinery
- Creating electrical bill of materials (BOM), spare part lists, installation manuals, and maintenance guides
- Setting up machine systems, conducting IO checks, and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Performing circuit simulations/analysis, designing, developing, testing, and debugging circuit boards and embedded firmware
- Producing PCB board bill of materials (BOM), Gerber files, assembly drawings, schematic drawings, technical design documentation, simulations/analysis reports, and test reports
- Developing and debugging PCB prototypes
- Overseeing all electrical materials, including PCB boards, in line with machine production schedules
- Maintaining firmware and PLC codes, addressing bugs, and implementing enhancements
- Offering technical support and training on the electrical systems of automation machinery
- Monitoring the work quality of electrical technicians and contractors to ensure the production of high-quality automation machinery
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Solid understanding of electrical design principles
- Proficiency in Eplan software
- Ability to analyze project requirements, develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts
- Experience in designing to comply with safety and regulatory standards like CE, UL, VDE, CSA, and SEMI-S2
- Proficient in PCB design involving analogue/digital circuits and lighting
- Capability to design circuit boards with RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, USB, and Ethernet interfaces
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Pspice, LTspice, or TINA
- Strong skills in Microchip assembly and programming languages like C/C++
- Sound knowledge of PLC programming
- Good soldering and electrical wiring harness skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adept at troubleshooting complex electrical issues
- Project management skills to effectively handle priorities, timelines, and resources
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin with International Customers
- Collaborative team player within a multi-discipline engineering team
