RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Prepare and conduct negotiations based on technical specifications, cost objectives, market conditions, using appropriate methods and tools (e.g. eauctions, technical and commercial levers) to secure the best possible technical and commercial conditions for the organization.
  • Conduct supply inquiries, request for quotes, price negotiations, price comparisons and prepare sourcing decisions in alignment with defined procurement processes.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across all functions and levels, both internally and within suppliers on material mitigations to improve material fulfillment for ontime delivery.
  • Ensure material fulfillment, keeping inventory at optimal level, managing AFG, E&O and Inventory turns.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, develop, and provide strategic direction by creating long term materials planning processes that will maximize material availability in line with module & engine assembly schedules.
  • Work with external repair suppliers on repair quotes and parts turnaround time that will maximize material availability in line with module & engine assembly schedules.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance to industry quality requirements & company specifications.
  • Drive supplier performance reviews to attain the desired levels of cost, quality, delivery and support services.
  • Identify and execute cost reduction projects including planning, coordinating with stakeholders, estimating completion and project updates.
  • Provide MRO reporting, including spending, savings, scheduling and spend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in CORE/continuous improvement events and activities such as Value Stream Mapping and/or Kaizen events
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or any other related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sourcing experience in fastpaced environments.
  • Experience in Aerospace or Defense industries is an added advantage.
  • Experience in monthly/quarterly materials forecast based on engine inductions to develop sourcing/mitigations strategies for parts to meet corporate Engine Turnaround targets.
  • Effective communications and organizational skills to work in crossfunctional/international business environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements.
  • Ability to prioritize appropriately to meet internal customers' and company's needs.
  • Strong analytical skills that drive creative problemsolving, proposal preparation and negotiation.
  • Teamplayer with high standards of performance to achieve company goals.
