[What the role is]

ASSISTANT MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT (1-YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

[What you will be working on]


With a people-centric bus public transport system, we need a passionate individual that is interested in playing a role to build scalable and enterprise systems to support the bus operations in the LTA Bus Information Systems Division.

In this role, you will be part of a team to project manage and develop the future fleet management system.

You will coordinate closely with internal stakeholders within LTA to design and prescribed the feature set and specifications. You will be working with the Public Bus Operators to ensure that the features are fit for purpose. You will also collaborate and liaise with suppliers and vendors of systems to actualise the features into reality.

[What we are looking for]

  • Tertiary qualification preferably in Engineering / Science / IT related field. Certification in project management will be an advantage.
  • Logical and analytical in processes always able to think of the next step to take when confronted with a problem. Have a big picture view of systems and still able to drill down to the tangible process or designs.
  • Articulate able to translate ideas / requirements into design documents
  • Experience or have a flair in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Adaptable with the ability to fit well and fast to new job scope as part of the project lifecycle. Most importantly, dare to try.
