Senior Food Chemist/food Analyst - Singapore - Bureau Veritas
Description
Perform various analytical tests and ensure all samples are tested and completed on time using the appropriate test methods.- Conduct methodological research by evaluating procedures, techniques and instrumentation.
- Stay uptodate on food and pharmaceutical testing, analytical instrumentation and method development.
- Verify, validate, and/or perform the transfer of analytical methods.
- Identify and resolve issues with test method performance.
- Investigate problematic laboratory samples.
- To support maintaining the standard of testing activities and assist in any improvement plans and executions.
- Degree in Food Science/Chemistry.
- Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience in chemical analysis of food.
- Experience in operating HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS and UV-Vis spectrophotometers preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and quality management system.
