Job Summary:

GM / Director of Business Development (International Architecture studio) - Singapore Based

My client is a leading international Architecture company. They are looking to expand their reach to clients and projects and are looking to recruit a highly talented and motivated team member to fill the role of GM / Director of Business Development, where they will lead all aspects of the firm's business development efforts in Southeast Asia area while working with their highly collaborative team in China (Shanghai) and internationally. This position works closely with leadership on implementing a strategic business development plan and sourcing new business opportunities and will frequently collaborate with the marketing team on pursuits and collateral needs. They are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry and is a go-getter who enjoys building relationships and will help the firm grow. You will also attend project meetings in a coordination capacity in the region above

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop business development plans for each market sector, working with leadership to set and track against annual goals.
Research and identify project leads
Establish and maintain a CRM for leads and opportunities
Seek out, build, and maintain relationships with consultants and industry partners for collaboration opportunities.
Be a business development champion for the wider business.
Work through RFP and presentations and participate in client meetings and pitches
Attend industry conferences and trade shows, as required
Contribute to the implementation of the firm's Strategic Plan.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field.
Ten or more years of relevant experience, preferably in the Architectural industry
An existing network of real estate developers & real estate investment companies
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills you will be communicating daily with management, peers, technical professionals, potential clients, and teaming partners.
Be an industry thought leader
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and the Adobe Creative Suite ( InDesign).
Selfmotivated and able to work individually and collaboratively; detailoriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Be punctual, motivated, and diligent
Be familiar with the SE Asia Architectural and real estate market
Fluent in English

This will be a new office for this business so there will be a beading in period and a period of remote working while the business entity gets set up
