Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lorry Driver to join our team.

As a Lorry Driver, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Having a Class 4 Driving License with proof of a minimum of 3 years of experience as a lorry driver.

Ensuring that the vehicles are mechanically sound and legally roadworthy.
Performing basic repairs and maintenance in the event of an accident or breakdown while in transit.
Safely securing heavy loads and large goods for transport.
Organizing the most efficient route from pickup point to drop off point.
Keeping informed of road closures, accidents and traffic diversions.
Organizing multiple dropoffs and deliveries in each working day.
Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries into the lorry.
Updating vehicle log books, and recording deliveries.
Being able to work night shifts and weekends.
