Our APAC Travel Retail division is seeking a motivated, innovative, and strategic Senior Marketing Manager. This individual will be tasked with overseeing the brand development and strategy of Hennessy, Glenmorangie, and Ardbeg throughout the region.

Working alongside cross-functional teams, this role will play a crucial part in meeting marketing goals through a comprehensive omnichannel approach tailored to consumer profiles and the digital landscape of various markets, enhancing the connection between Sales and Marketing.


Responsibilities

  • Develop category and brand strategies, long-term innovation pipeline, annual brand plans, and marketing calendar for the region
  • Lead New Product/Campaign launch process; create and customize marketing program toolkits and assets; formulate Go-To-Market guidelines and strategies
  • Devise Product Assortment and Distribution strategies by channel/customer
  • Provide market insights, conduct competitor analysis and monitoring, share best practices and recommendations for the brands
  • Elevate focus on PR & Communication to boost awareness across trade and consumer media
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to craft digital strategies and implement the digital calendar across the region
  • Offer guidance and approvals, validate implementation plans with the Retail Marketing team
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to manage P&L, ensure commercial targets are met with support from Brand and Retail Marketing
  • Monitor and manage the regional A&P budget, including monthly reporting and year-end closing with the Finance department

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum BA Degree
  • Have at least 12 years of relevant Marketing experience in FMCG/Luxury, preferably in the Wine & Spirits sector
  • Experience in the travel retail industry is advantageous
  • Digital-savvy with a proven track record and demonstrated expertise in digital solutions
  • Solid understanding of Retail, consumer journeys, and experiences
  • Results-oriented, responsible, and self-reliant individual with a proactive approach
  • Ability to influence and motivate teams not under direct supervision
  • Proficient in senior stakeholders management
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Motivated, target-driven, with strong analytical skills
  • Superior presentation and influencing skills paired with solid business acumen
  • Passionate team player with strong relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and creative abilities
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities beyond the defined role
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced, high-performance environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Fluent in English, Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to the regional scope and interactions with counterparts in HK/China
