Junior Field Network Engineer (SMU)

Brief Description:

Implementation, handling and troubling network-related matters

Qualifications

Diploma / ITE in computer science or IT or Engineering.
At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in enterprise network implementation and administration.
Experience in Basic Cisco switching and networking is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Support, Assist and Participate in the following operations and projects related matters, including but not limited to:

Provide network support for events standby e.g. Open house, Exam, etc.
Handle (enquiry/fault/change request) cases pertaining to network related.
Escort of cabling vendors or ISP installer to LAN room or Datacentres.
Housekeeping of LAN wiring closets.
Replace faulty networking equipment.
Network Asset Management/Disposal.
Basic Troubleshooting on network issues.
Perform basic software upgrade
Upgrades & patches
Perform Performance monitoring and basic tuning
Security management and integrity checks
Job scheduling and monitoring of network availability

Contract Type: 12 months (Renewal)

Salary:
SGD2,800 - SGD3,500

Location:
Central

Working Hours:
Mon - Fri 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (onsite)

Commencement:
Immediate
