POSITION PURPOSE:


The main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining & Developing client friendly marketing materials both on macro and product related content for clients in Asia in English and Chinese.
  • Acting as a key facilitator for efficient communications between product specialists, relationship managers and key stakeholders.
  • Taking the ownership of weekly investment forum from arranging the meeting with product specialists to preparing the presentation deck and execution in every Monday morning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive content development to achieve transactional and recurring revenue targets

Constant communication between Marketing & Product Specialists to ensure that product materials on the shelf are properly layout & clearly presented, consistent with WM Investment Strategy and in line with needs of clients.


  • Increase visibility and share of voice of investment professionals
On both internal & external front, marketing helps build profile of the bank and its offering.

The team is closely collaborating with Brand & Comm to contribute to awards pitching, articles, conference /event and product content.


  • Fully set in place all marketing documentation for clients, RMs and offering teams

Support Product Specialists & Investment Counselors to set & maintain client friendly documentation which is ready to use for RMs.

All materials should be in line with regulatory requirements and pedagogical enough for use with Private Clients and obtain L&C approvals where necessary.


  • Provide support for projects
Successful completion of assigned projects such as publication re-vamps, new publications or CIO content, new tools to be migrated.


Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)

  • Good knowledge in finance, marketing tools & communication practices, outstanding written skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Creative, willing to take initiative and results driven
  • Strong decision making and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage change and complexity with confidence
  • Collaborative, inclusive team player and quick on his/her feet with new ideas/concepts/workflow
  • Client focused and commercial thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written Mandarin and English are a must)
  • Selfmotivated with a strong desire to learn and grow, demonstrable interest in Banking and Finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel & Power point) and Graphic tools (Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop) is an advantage

Specific Qualifications Required

  • Graduate university degree with strong marketing/editing skills and financial knowledge
years of experience in communication/editing and product marketing
