Job description:

Keep up to date on import/export/transshipment procedures for ocean/air shipments
Recommend optimum freight forwarding vendors and shipping options based on various factors such as competitive pricing and delivery duration
Issue orders to confirmed vendors timely to meet deadlines
Ensure information accuracy when arranging for shipment
Monitor and ensure that all customs permit declaration complies with the regulatory requirements
Ensure shipping documents and instructions are issued in a timely and accurate manner to ensure deliveries are on time. E.g., of documents includes but are not limited to Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Shipping Certificate, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods and materials
Report to respective stakeholders on the shipment status
Engage the respective stakeholders actively to inform and advise on forward planning on all shipment matters
Prepare and submit monthly incoming and outgoing shipping reports
Prepare and submit monthly report to Finance
Prepare reports toto be submitted to the various departments
Upkeep of hard and softcopy documentation on shipment processes
Liaise with other departments on shipping matters when required

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Purchasing Management/Supply Chain Logistics Management/Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in Marine or Oil & Gas industry or machinery procurement experience
Able to work independently, meticulous and analytical with excellent problemsolving skills
