**Cloud Systems Engineer Roles and ResponsibilitiesA Cloud Engineer is an IT professional responsible for several technological responsibilities under Cloud Computing.
We are looking for system engineers for technical roles with a career discipline as a software engineer, information security analyst, and infrastructure systems analyst who will focus on professionalism in technical practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Basic experience as a systems administrator in a systems operations role
- Ability to work with virtualization technology
- Experience in monitoring and auditing systems
- Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls)
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure Cloud, and Microsoft Office 365 will be an added advantage
- Exposure to CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Deployment Automation, Cloud Compliance
- Ability to translate architectural requirements
- Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and faulttolerant systems
- Capability to select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements
- Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
- Capability to migrate onpremises workload to service providers
