Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and fabrication of nanoscale thin films for polymer and polymer composite coatings
- Testing and improve the mechanical property, biocompatibility, degradation study, and chemical stability
- Materials characterization by Thermal Analysis, DMA, Universal Tester, Spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-Vis), SEM, TEM, XRD, etc.
- Create and secure intellectual property
- Analyse, organize and share data, write technical reports and presentations
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry or related field
- 5years research experience in nanoscale thin films and coating related area
- Knowledge in 3D printing by SLA, surface treatment of nanoparticles and polymer composite properties
- Understanding of analytical methods including polymer characterization and mechanical testing techniques (GPC, FTIR, DMA, TGA, DSC, DPC, XPS, UV-Vis Universal Tester etc.).
- Strong publication track record.
- Successful proposal writing and secure research grant experience is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in English
