The Role

Your Responsibilities will include:

Sourcing and managing deal flow, through various internal and external sources
Working closely with key internal stakeholders / sponsors to better understand the bank's innovation priorities, and to help socialise relevant opportunities
Managing various elements of transaction execution due diligence, IC approvals, negotiations, postdeal management and tracking
Supporting portfolio management and reporting, including quarterly business reviews, portfolio assessments, etc.
Citi's Institutional Strategic Investments (ISI) team is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing strategic investments in fintech companies which are relevant to its overall strategy and which help drive the innovation agenda within ICG (Institutional Clients Group).
The team is core part of the innovation and business development division within Citi ICG.
This role will help the APAC ISI team source and execute strategic fintech investments within the region.
Source and execute principal minority investments in fintech companies strategic to Citi's institutional businesses in the APAC region

Ideal Profile

Skills Required:

You have at least 5 years of experience including solid experience in a similar role within Financial Services.
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
