Description
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Energy/Engineering/Economics/Business/Math or similar field

  • 5+ years of experience in APAC energy markets, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, or energy generation technologies
  • Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as retailers, utilities, regulators, consultants
  • Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers
Deliver energy supply and retail electricity contracts for Amazon data centers. Deliver Energy compliant and cost-effective Colocation capacity.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

  • Own and deliver electricity supply and retail contracts for data center energy supply
  • Analyze trends and regulations in the energy space to proactively identify opportunities that benefit Amazon
  • Work collaboratively with Amazon infrastructure and capacity delivery team to support the costeffective energy and Utility energy compliant colocation sites
  • Work with the aim of maximizing renewable energy content in delivered energy through green tariff, physical PPAs or retailer backed renewable purchase
  • Delivering energy cost savings program across AWS sites and its colocation sites

  • Proven ability to evaluate new energy markets, utility tariffs, policies, power contracts, or evaluating new energy sourcing opportunities and technologies
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects with mínimal direction
  • Excellent speakinglisteningwriting skills and attention to details
  • Be a passionate selfstarter
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
