Requirements:

A minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
35 years of work experience, preferably in freight forwarding, the automotive industry, or logistics.
Having good connections with Freight forwarders/carriers is a plus.
Familiarity with coordinating air, sea, and land transportation, including handling Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo as classified by International Maritime Organization.
Strong ability to work well with different people and groups to meet customer needs. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications.

Job Scope:

Handle daytoday transport requests and make sure information flows smoothly between customers, vendors, our team, and service providers using the Transport Management mailbox.
Arrange transportation using different methods like air, sea, and land. Make sure service providers send the right shipping documents and follow local rules.
Keep in touch with service providers to ensure they deliver customer orders on time and handle returns as planned.
Watch and tell the team about any news on incoming shipments from vendors. If there are delays, let the warehouse service provider know so they can clear things up quickly.
Ensure service providers send correct transport billing details on time, including charges like demurrage, detention, and customs fees.
Handle transport claims well, using our claim systems and working with insurance.
Help make weekly and monthly reports about the department. If service providers aren't doing their job well, point it out so we can fix it fast.
Follow the rules for audits and manage risks in your area of work.
