Global Fund Manager

Key Objectives:

Develop risk frameworks
Implement risk management tools
Risk evaluation
Enhance business decision making

Duties:

Guide junior risk analysts in the team
Lead and manage risk projects
Partner with other risk, finance and investment teams to fully analyse potential risks
Risk assessments across the portfolio
Update and enhance various risk metrics and models
Use VaR and stress testing to ensure risks are appropriately managed, monitored and mitigated
Provide independent risk assessments on adhoc projects such as acquisitions, divestments, enterprise risk, etc.
Investment benchmarking exercises
Assist in development of investment risk policies and frameworks
Risk reporting (quarterly, annually, adhoc)
Prepare risk content for risk committees and the Board

Profile:

6+ years' analytical experience in an investment, research, quant, risk or valuations role
Knowledge of corporate finance, project finance credit evaluation or real estate investment
Experience with statistical risk methods/models (VaR, Capital Asset Pricing Model, etc.)
Advanced/expert excel modelling
Quantitative degree, ideally with Masters (accounting, finance, economics, engineering, physics, etc)
Professional risk qualification (CFA, CQF, FRM, PRM)
