This advertisement is for recruiting for the position of Science Lab Support Services.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Primary School located in Pasir Ris.


Contract Period:
From 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024.


Option to Extend:
for a further period of 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2026.


Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 8:30am to 1:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
  • The school operates on 5day work week
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Services not required for June and December School Holiday.

The Services required are set out as follows:

  • Assist teachers in the preparation of teaching materials, lab resources, test papers and worksheets;
  • Provide administration support to the teachers for programmes run by the Science department;
  • Assist in the preparation and running of school Science events;
  • Assist in the maintenance of records for Science Laboratories;
  • Manage inventory of Science equipment and material which may include shifting of bulky lab items and making purchases for the department;
  • Assist in any other administrative work assigned by the school.

The Personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Preferably at least 1 year of relevant working experience in a school lab;
  • Possesses basic knowledge in MS Office;
  • Minimum GCE 'N' level qualification with a pass in English; and
  • Able to communicate well in English.
