Job Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.

Product Knowledge and Demonstration:

Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and technological advancements.
Conduct product demonstrations and provide indepth technical information to clients.

Market Research:

Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyze data and prepare reports on market insights and opportunities.

Customer Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to sales.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Professional Development:

Stay updated on industry best practices and continuously enhance product knowledge.
Participate in training and development programs to improve sales and technical skills.

Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science & Engineering (Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Physics, or related fields).

Proven Sales Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales, particularly in laboratory and characterization equipment, with a demonstrable track record of success.

Industry Knowledge: Experience in characterization techniques such as Spectroscopy, Particle Sizer, Surface Area Analyzer, Calorimeter, etc.
Personal Attributes: Independent, dynamic, selfdriven, with a positive attitude and longterm career focus. Basically a selfstarter who is hungry for success.
Communication and Multitasking: Strong communication skills, creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Customer Relations and

Market Insight:
Capability to maintain strong customer relationships and an understanding of market trends and competition.
