McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team in South East Asia. This role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will oversee operations for a vibrant and diverse region in the McConnell Dowell business.
As a key member of the South East Asia, Senior Leadership Team, you will play an essential part in organisational strategy from bid selection to delivery and completion. By taking a leading role in the success of a growing region you'll have the opportunity to influence outcomes that make a genuine difference to the success and culture of McConnell Dowell and the communities we partner with.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Management Team, you will participate in setting and communicating business strategy for South East Asia
Serve as the principal point for project delivery in the region and effectively manage all external stakeholders in this regard
Accountable for financial, safety, quality, customer relationship and all other performance outcomes for allocated projects
Assist project teams with commercial and financial project management to ensure delivery within budget and KPI's
Mentoring and retaining key talent across the business
Build Company profile in the region and understand current and emerging trends
Establish and maintain customer relationships at the project and leadership level
Build and manage a prospect pipeline that underpins the business plan and regional growth aspirations

About You
To be considered for this role, you will have;- Results driven with strong and visible leadership

Tertiary qualifications in relevant engineering discipline (Civil/Construction/Mechanical)
Significant engineering and project management experience within region and/or other locations in an engineering and construction environment.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders (employees, customers, regulators, suppliers, subcontractors)
Capable of analysing technical and financial information and reports with the purpose of taking definitive action.
Ability to manage multiple projects and succeed in high pressure environment
Clear and definitive communication oral and written.
