What We're Looking For


We're looking for a curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented individual to join as an Accountant role that support regional accounting function to be
based in BTS Singapore office.


Specific responsibilities include:


  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update full set of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements
  • Accounts Payable: Managing accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payment to vendors and suppliers. This involves maintaining accurate records of payables and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Accounts Receivable: Overseeing accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, following up on overdue accounts, and reconciling customer accounts. Ensure that receivables are collected promptly and accurately recorded.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintaining the general ledger by recording financial transactions, journal entries, and adjustments. Accounts Executives ensure that all transactions are accurately classified and posted to the appropriate accounts in accordance with accounting standards
  • Bank Reconciliation: Performing bank reconciliations to ensure that the company's bank statements reconcile with its accounting records. This involves comparing transactions, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any issues to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Expense Management: Monitoring and controlling expenses by checking and reviewing employee expense reports, assist in tracking expenditures against budgets, and analyzing spending patterns to identify costsaving opportunities.
  • Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
  • Advisory Services: Provide financial advice and support to management, helping to inform decisionmaking and strategy.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring the integrity and security of financial data and assets.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation is an added advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and levels of the organization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel.
