We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Manager, Credit Services - HSBC Operations, Services and Technology.



Principal Responsibilities

Primary Role of Credit Admin (Client Services):

  • Preparation of credit documents to support business on a timely and accurate manner, within SLA to support business & growth
  • Ensure credit approval conditions/condition precedents are met before issuance of facility letter/credit lines are availed
  • Maintenance of credit limits/static data in systems
  • Timely follow up on outstanding documents and safekeeping of documents
  • Ensure that quarterly cash surrender values in relation to insurance policies assigned to the Bank are requested, received and updated in system in a timely manner
  • Ensure that Fire Insurance policies for properties pledged to the Bank are duly renewed and updated in the system
  • Conduct and review company searches
  • Prepare periodic management and regulatory reports
  • Liaise with internal legal department on nonstandard documentation
  • Liaise with external legal counsel on legal opinion, conveyancing matters, registration and etc.
  • Process Demand Guarantee issuance, amendment and claims
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide feedback for new enhancements/projects
  • Others continual review of work processes to enhance/streamline so as to comply with group/regulatory/compliance requirements related to Credit documentation

Secondary Role:

  • As part of educating the marketing on the process, to provide guidance/advice in matters relating to documentation
  • To assist in audit matters, if required
  • Participate in any adhoc projects
Requirements


Requirements:


  • 3 to 4 years working experience preferably in credit documentation
  • Knowledge of Private Banking business, as well as credit products, in particular property loans and insurance loans
  • Knowledge of security and lending principles
  • Familiar with Demand Guarantee/SBLC process
  • Attention to details and willingness to learn
  • Independent worker
  • Ability to prioritize workload to adhere to tight deadline
  • Team player ability to work well within the team and work collaboratively across the wider business and functions
  • Possess good written, interpersonal, communication and organization skills
