We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Head of Planning, Forecasting and Distribution Oversight.



Principal Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the Head of Planning & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision making and financial planning with a focus on revenue. You will lead a team of analysts to develop forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to support key business initiatives. Your role will involve collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals and drive sustainable growth
  • Provide Oversight over the compensation paid to the distributors (agency, IFA, Banca, Singpost, brokers); assess the efficiency of the campaigns being run to support the achievement of the plans
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales/revenue plans, including annual channel budgets, longterm forecasts, and strategic plans. Work closely with senior management to develop and execute plans that align with the company's objectives and drive growth
  • Lead the analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders across the organization
  • Identify inefficiencies in business processes and develop solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and bank partners, to understand their needs and deliver valueadded solutions
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analysis to drive innovation and improvement within the organization
  • Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business & performance analysis, with a minimum of 12 years in a leadership role
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and implementing innovative solutions
  • Experience working in Life Insurance Industry & Understanding of IFRS17 is a plus
