**Job Description

  • What you'll do**The Principal
  • P&O Initiatives role is responsible to champion and lead P&O projects and initiatives that supports the achievement of P&O objectives and the Marketing BU's overall strategy.

Key Tasks

Project/Initiatives execution

  • Lead and manage all Global P&O and relevant Marketing BU projects and initiatives from a Marketing P&O standpoint
  • As the key focal point for Marketing P&O, to ensure that crossfunctional projects and programs are effectively and efficiently managed by escalating risks, tracking decisions, empowering decisionmakers, identifying interdependencies and ensuring there is consistent and regular engagement on the changes
  • Lead and drive the execution of relevant P&O projects and initiatives from initiation to completion including roadmap structure, work plan development and project management with global stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of every tranche of the project.

Project/Initiatives portfolio management

  • Leads and facilitates the prioritisation and decisionmaking sessions for the management team to define project priorities and assign project participants as appropriate
  • Reporting of portfolio status, risks and challenges
  • Oversee the delivery of projects on time, within scope and on budget
  • Interface with other program/project managers as needed

Governance

  • Act as the P&O LT Secretary to ensure smooth functioning of the meetings
  • Manage the tracking, monitoring and reporting of all the P&O related commitments
  • Advises the P&O leadership team on plans and initiatives to support local strategy in line with Marketing and Group P&O strategy

Policies & Processes

  • Leads the proactive development and implementation of relevant P&O policies, processes and initiatives within Representative and Marketing offices

Other Responsibilities

  • Leads the annual budgeting process from a P&O perspective
  • Leads the development and integration of the strategic workforce planning initiative for Marketing
  • Develop and leads the Employer Branding Strategy from a P&O perspective
  • Ad hoc projects as required
**Qualifications

  • What we're looking for*
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline (HR related preferred but not essential).

Specific Knowledge requirements:


  • Knowledge of best practice and/or Anglo American processes regarding employee services, systems, policies, etc
  • Employment practices and laws
  • Singapore / Asia specific and international overview
  • Experience working within a Human Resources role in a global multinational organisation
  • Experience of working with people from different cultures/geographies
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and report development skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables
  • Demonstrates initiative
  • MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)


  • Knowledge

  • SAP or similar ERP systems
