What You'II Do:
Lead deal execution team comprising inhouse team members from Sustainable Energy Solutions business team, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Technical as well as M&A analysts Liaise with external advisers for financial, tax, legal and technical due diligence Drive all internal processes to complete M&A transactions including financial modelling, valuation, preparation of bid proposals, due diligence workstreams, negotiation of agreements, preparation of Board papers and securing approvals from internal stakeholders Review all documentation in relation to abovementioned processes including financial models, bid letters, due diligence reports, agreements, Board papers and other internal approval papers Be able to make commercial decisions, as deal team leader in consultation with Head of M&A, or jointly with business team leader, on transactions while at the same time protecting SP Group's interests by advocating the best position for SP GroupWhat You'II Need:
  • Strong academic results, preferably with a professional qualification such as CFA or accountancy
At least 810 years' direct experience in M&A, with endtoend transaction experience from origination to closing of deals, preferably with a strong track record of deals closed Experience in leading deal teams, managing financial analysts, liaising with external advisers, and managing relationships with internal stakeholders Ability to operate in a fastpaced and challenging environment, managing multiple deals with tight execution timelines Ability to make the right commercial, valuation and due diligence related decisions in deals which carry high execution risks in developing countries (strong deal acumen) Detailed, meticulous and accurate in reviewing work done by analysts, internal team members and external advisers Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external relationships, and problem solving skills to mitigate transaction risks
