Description

Scope and Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall store inventory integrity.
Maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct regular stock checks
Ensure proper storage and handling of goods
Ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
Responsible for the smooth operations of the warehouse activities.
Optimize the warehouse layout to maximize storage space and improve workflow efficiency
Maintain cleanliness and organization to facilitate easy access to goods
Equipment maintenance
Oversee the maintenance and proper usage of warehouse equipment, such as van, pallet jacks
Schedule routine maintenance and repairs to keep the equipment in good working condition
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies
Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations and resolve any issues that may arise
Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc.), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to head of department and HR
Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.
Comply with health and safety regulations/policies/programs/rules.
Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
Attend health and safety training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall warehouse performance
Other duties as assigned by head of department.
