Mission:


Reporting to the HR Director SEAA, this role contributes to company success through managing full spectrum of HR activities, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition & Retention, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations for South East Asia and Australia.

Such role needs to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department, while maintaining company standards through supporting of corporate and regional HR initiatives.


Main Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Manage endtoend talent acquisition and retention process for both office and frontline retail positions
  • Propose and implement a talent acquisition strategy, overseeing the recruitment and selection process, and providing management with effective recruitment solutions in a costeffective manner
  • Work closely with line managers to identify the right talents and develop a talent pool for future pipeline
  • Handle staff onboarding and orientation ensuring all new joiners are equipped with necessary company information

Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

  • Ensure C&B policy and practices are inline with the company's strategic objectives while at the same time comply with local laws and regulations
  • Participate in C&B surveys, and conduct detailed analysis with recommendations as required
  • Oversee and manage monthly payroll, sales commission and incentives calculation and validation Handle employee benefits and pension administration
  • Responsible for annual budget preparation for manpower planning and payroll budget working closely with the country Finance team to ensure accurate projection in supporting the business plan
  • Facilitate and manage the annual performance appraisal, annual salary review and bonus exercise within set timeline and to ensure internal equity and fairness is upheld

Organizational Development and Employee Engagement

  • Responsible for conducting new joiner induction and performance management training
  • Evaluate and identify training needs for both office and retail employees, this includes identifying and arranging internal and external training programs as well as delivery of programs as required by the Company
  • Align with HQ/regional team on talent mapping process and to implement an effective succession plan to support the development of key talents
  • Ensure proper communication and feedback channel is developed, formal and informal, between company and employees
  • Able to identify issues and opportunities to improve the engagement level of staff
  • Involve in employee engagement/CSR activities

HR Metrics Reporting

  • Preparation of various HR metrics reports as required by management including headcount report, organization chart, FTE and turnover analysis on a monthly basis
  • Manage HR records in a timely and accurate manner including personnel file, leave and other benefit claims such as clothing and staff purchase
  • Followup on procedures upon completion of probation and changes of employment status such as transfer, promotion, etc. with proper documentation
  • Ensure HR information is up to date including employee list and organization charts at all times

Requirements:


  • Minimum 10 years HR experience in the service industry, retail is an advantage
  • Well versed in in local labor regulations
  • Degree qualifications in HRM or related disciplines
  • Excellent people and communication skills to effectively deal with personnel at all levels
  • Flexible and be able to work under pressure and handle uncertainty
  • Committed to fastpace environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle technical and soft side of HR
  • Dynamic, independent and highly organized
  • Must have good command of written and spoken English
  • Hands on computer skills (Words, Excel, PPT, etc)
