Are you looking for an opportunity to join the APAC WREF (Workplace Real Estate & Facilities) team and contribute to the development of the risk & compliance strategy and delivery of objectives.? If so, this is the role for you.

The Compliance EHS specialist role will ensure WREF compliance with GSK policies, practices and regulatory aspects relating to EHS. The role will also actively be involved with other enterprise and operational risks. This will involve management of compliance reporting, communication, risk management process, and tracking of key performance indicators.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the


following:

  • Support development of an enterprisewide approach to EHS risk management including conducting gap analyses against company policies and developing appropriate action plans with business partners
  • Ensure EHS risk objectives are aligned to the enterprise risks and are specific for GSK sites.
  • Oversee and manage framework for the management of standards, policy and practices that supports and enables business programs.
  • Support competent deviation business investigations; identify process weaknesses; lead RCAs and development of CAPAs.
  • Ensure tracking of issues/gaps reported, follow up of actions and mitigation plans.
  • Provides support and direction to the team in managing operational disruptions across GSK sites. Ensure that the sites receive the latest alerts on an ongoing basis and reporting of outstanding alert requirements.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to align roles, responsibilities, objectives and build an environment that motivates people and promotes teamwork. Lead Operations Risk Management forum and governance meetings for site teams to provide overview of key risk strategies, objectives tracking and key risk exposures. Support RMCB (Risk Management & Compliance Board) governance meetings and reporting. Work with the Risk & Compliance lead to develop an agenda, meeting objectives and desired output.
  • Deploy new Management Monitoring (MM) controls and track existing MM controls completion and performance. Also perform and support compliance reviews to assess quality of MM control completion.
  • Act as risk facilitator to support the risk management process.
  • Deploy and embed the risk management process/strategy and internal controls framework process.
  • Ensure the purpose in MyLearning fits the training matrix.
  • Perform administrative management duties in systems e.g., MM tool, Risk & Compliance Dashboards
  • Provide guidance to support the management and follow up on change request and key performance indicators.
  • Review and facilitate trainings on written standards.
  • Collect, process, and consolidate information to support effective communication.

  • Min bachelor's degree
  • Min 5 years of EHS experience with people management in a multidisciplinary team or environment.
  • Experience in operation excellence methodology including process improvement, datadriven decision making, lean principles, change management.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong collaborator, and ability to utilize ideas to reach constructive solutions.
  • Work experience with good process practice in a regulated environment
  • Operate effectively in multicultural diverse, matrix organization with the ability to lead with minimum hierarchical support.
  • Experience in managing training matrixes or writing of written standard.
  • Strong compliance mindset and actively follows the approach and initiative to "Do The Right Thing"
