Chief Operating Officer (VC, PE and M&A)

Our client, the leading provider of financial information on startups and VCs in Southeast Asia. The majority of the VCs in SEA are subscribers, as are leading investors. Clients include leading enterprises from many other sectors. We are looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will be involved in everything. Helping to solve problems, and execution. Be proactive in coming up with ideas to make the products better, our processes more efficient etc. The role will be fluid, with no boundaries. This will be the no 2 in charge but expected to often act like the CEO.

We are looking for a COO to:

You will do everything the CEO does, and then some
You will help oversee all aspects of the business and strategy and help drive product development and improvements
You will find ways to solve hard problems to do things no one has done before
You will assist in recruiting, and spearhead the launch into new countries and of new initiatives
You will go to conferences and events and build relationships with customers, suppliers and facilitators
And you will manage staff, drive performance and oversee execution

You will possess:

4 to 7 years experience from a leading consulting firm, startup or other professional service firm.
You will have the confidence to achieve anything, and have incredible enthusiasm to build a world class company
Passionate about building a company with a reputation for providing extremely accurate data that has never been available before, with a drive to really achieve results.
You should have a strong education background, and be very bright so you can assist in solving very challenging problems in developing new geographies and products
