Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience working in marketing, sales, and general management and experience in a media sales environment.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience managing executive leaders, leading teams across multiple geographies, and influencing crossfunctional teams, resulting in improved results.
  • Experience working in a partner development environment and achieving business growth goals.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment and deliver multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to drive key product innovations with the publisher/developer community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex business or technical concepts externally.

About the job:

The Global Partnerships team's vision is to fund the world's information by enabling content creators.

We do this by nurturing an open digital ecosystem for all and developing partnerships using scale, insights, and team members.


This team uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager tools, to help Publishers and App Developers of all sizes grow their businesses with ad inventory across mobile, display and video.

Our partner base ranges in scale from publishers and developers to startup partners.


In this role, you will lead our APAC-based team responsible for helping to grow our partners' businesses in a complex regulatory environment.

The geographical landscape of the business covers the APAC region and the team contains a wide range of business functions including business development, partner management (direct and scaled), support, and analytical teams.

You'll provide innovative advertising solutions for publishers and developers and identify opportunities. You will work closely with product leadership to build and drive adoption across multiple ads products. Additionally, you will work with Google's APAC partners to help them meet their business goals.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners.

Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business.

The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more.

Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop APAC business strategy and organizational structure, including relative focus, partner management, and customer support.
  • Lead and create diverse and inclusive teams, driving fair and equitable processes, and motivate teams to execute against the regional strategy at scale.
  • Provide leadership on key strategic partner discussions with direct involvement and lead scaled partner management operations in a complex environment and identify business opportunities.
  • Execute gotomarket plans as the primary point of contact for partners in APAC. Track and interpret key business metrics to make impactful datadriven business decisions.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and external partners to drive adoption across multiple products. Create a transparent and collaborative environment and lead the APAC and global business, including taking on key functional leadership responsibilities over time.
