This is a 12-month contract role in Singapore (extendable)
**Desired Experience: - 5 years
This role is to provide 1st and 2nd line Support for of Ecommerce Applications and FX Options Business:

  • In house Global eCommerce client facing trading systems used during Asia hour for Global Market, ALMT and Global Digital banking for business line of FX ,MM Treasury ,Structured products, Secondary Market, Treasury Deposit, Rates, Corporate FX Payment/Cash management and Commodities
  • Asian sites users (Traders, Marketers, Middle Office, Back Office, Client Services, External Client)
  • In house Global FX Options trading systems during Asia hour for Global Market that covers front to back activities within FX Options business: pricing & risk, trade capture and lifecycle and overnight batches
**RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in

  • Daily early shifts from 06:30am SIN, on a rotation basis
  • Regular monthly weekend support (Saturday) of end of day batches
  • Bank holiday cover, on a rotation basis
  • Follow the sun support model with handovers from New York and to London
  • Some weekend work (DR drill, post release checks)
  • Managing reported incidents timely: logged, investigated, understood, explained and followed up to avoid reoccurrence

Active involvement with:


  • End users (Traders, Quant, Risk Manager, Client Services, Marketers and or Directly with External clients) eCommerce client support groups
  • Local and Global Project Manager, Business Analyst and Developers
  • Local and Global Infrastructure groups (DBA, Market Data, Networks, Windows Server)
  • Auditor, Compliance
  • Operational efficiency improvement including automation that requires scripting e.g. python
  • Detailed problem/ queries Investigation and provide immediate solution/ workaround
  • Incident and Problem Management
  • System checks and Application Monitoring
  • Configuration, Change & Release management including pre and post release check

COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills:


  • Scripting /

Programming Language:
Python, Java, PL/SQL, Oracle, Java Script, Excel macro

  • Knowledge of the technologies: FIX, TCP/IP, TIBRV, MQ and other middleware
  • Support Tools : Dynatrace, Scada, Splunk

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:


  • Outspoken and client facing support /communication experience
  • Front Office (Sales & Traders) business support experience
  • Familiarity with End of Day batches process
  • Incident and Problem Management
experience

  • Strong interest in Trading, Electronic Trading and Financial Technologies

Desired skills (but not necessary)

  • Knowledge of Electronic trading business
  • Knowledge of FX Options

Language Required:

English fluent


Other Requirements:


  • Genuine interest and motivation in supporting trading systems or electronic trading systems
  • Strong desire to investigate and resolve issues in the short term (workaround / setting up
- procedure) and longer term (participate to the definition of proper fix)

  • Interest to work in financial IT and focusing on long term plan of improving business with IT
  • Inquisitive mind. Think out of the box and be creative
  • Good personal organization to follow up simultaneously a very large number of support issues
  • Understand users' need and convert them to IT requirements.
**Bachelor Degree in IT/ Computing / Computer Science preferable
