Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Lead the antibody discovery team
Able to oversee multiple development projects, including early and late stage
Involved in scientific and strategy discussions to achieve R&D milestones
Identifies, defines and implements processes for the design and optimization of ADCs technologies including novel antibody discovery
Initiates and maintain external collaborations to advance specific project and meet milestones
Leverage scientific and technical experiences to initiate new projects and define functional and project strategies for Axcynsis platform and portfolio
Present data and recommendations to upper management, internal and overseas teams
Manage and ensure operations in the lab is compliant with Safety, Health and Environment standards of internal and external regulations
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of research, protocols, inventories, SOPs.
Plan and perform other adhoc projects as required

Qualifications:

PhD in Cancer biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline with a minimum 5 years of experience is required
Demonstrated knowledge of cell culture, molecular biology, protein expression and immunologyrelated technique is required
Handson work experience in antibody engineering, affinity optimization, with strong understanding of proteinstructure function is preferred
Handson experience with ADCs and other multispecific antibodies is preferred
Experience in leading a project to completion is preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional project teams
Demonstrated management and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced biotech start-up
