With a capacity of around 400 beds, Peacehaven Nursing Home provides compassionate, individualized, holistic care to all without discrimination.
We offer a comprehensive gamut of services to care for the sick, frail and elderly who have physical or mental disabilities with mínimal or no appropriate caregiver support at home.
The Home has 14 separate Resident Living Areas (RLAs), each designed as an individual home-like environment. Hope RLA is specially designed to meet the needs of relatively independent residents with dementia.
Peacehaven Nursing Home has also been awarded the bizSAFE level 3 status which affirms our commitment to safety and health standards at the workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Job
The Assistant Executive Director (AED) is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Home.
Key aspects of this diverse portfolio include support to strategic planning activities, including ongoing quality improvement, leadership in operational planning, priority setting, special projects, employee relations, and oversight monitoring of operating and capital budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing daytoday operations of the Home, ensuring all legislative requirements are met and contractual obligations with government grants are fulfilled, policies and procedures are consistently applied in all departments, and support the Executive Director and AED, Clinical in maintaining a high level of service standard
- Provides leadership in needs assessment and operational planning, priority setting and evaluation in the context of the Home's strategic plan, ensuring broadbased participation from all stakeholders to foster a collaborative approach with both internal and community stakeholders.
- Develop business continuity plan and succession management for department concerned
- Develops and formulate operational policies and procedures. ensuring timely analysis and compliance of government legislation and policies
- Analyse trends, possible improvements, areas of risks, financing and any key issues relating to the business and provide recommendation for improvements
- Prepare quarterly management report with written narratives to support analysis and findings
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from a recognisable university
Job Requirements
10 or more years of non profit management experience in an operational environment
Dynamic and good team player
Good interpersonal and communication skills with people of all levels
Strong organisation skills and attention to details
