What the role is

We are hiring for a Manager/ Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive (Policy and Communications)


What you will be working on

  • You will provide executive support and secretarial assistance to an MCCY Political Office Holder (POH).
Your primary duty is to work closely with MCCY divisions, partners and stakeholders to:

- curate and present timely, engaging and creative content (including digital content) using a variety of tools to support communication efforts and objectives;
- craft and deliver messages aligned to communications strategy and objectives, while considering different target audiences, in a timely manner; and
- plan, formulate and recommend suitable components for information campaigns for announcements of key national policies, including marketing and branding components.


These are in addition to light secretarial duties such as liaising with Personal Assistants in other Ministries to manage your principal's schedule, handle calls and correspondences, respond to public queries, prepare reports, presentations and meeting agendas as well as take on other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your principal.

You may also be coordinating travel arrangements and provide end-to-end administrative and logístical support for specific events and stakeholder engagements.


What we are looking for

  • Prior experience in an executive capacity supporting senior management level would be an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff in a professional manner.
  • Strong knowledge or prior experience in digital and offline media messaging and strategic communications.
  • Meticulous, with strong organisation, coordination and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive and takes initiative to support the principal in the prioritisation of work and appointments.
