Your responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for managing MLO/NVOCC accounts, addressing all their needs across various trade lanes, and conducting routine follow
- up.
- Engaging in the entire sales cycle, from drafting proposals and negotiating rates to finalizing deals, including managing dead freight contracts and ensuring they are effectively utilized.
- Aim to meet or exceed sales targets in different trade and service areas.
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and building strong relationships through consistent communication and meetings is crucial, alongside swiftly addressing any customer complaints.
- Identifying customer requirements to offer customized solutions, responding to inquiries daily, generating new business through referrals, and collaborating with other departments are key aspects of this position.
- Keeping abreast of market trends, competitive activities, and product developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Contributing to marketing strategy development and managing a customer database with detailed sales activity records are also important responsibilities.
Key Requirements
- At least a Diploma or higher, with
sales experience in the freight shipping/forwarding industry. - Strong communication skills and good track record of sales in freight shipping.
- Independent, capable in managing their time and able to manage client relationships.
