Your responsibilities will include:

Full responsibility for managing MLO/NVOCC accounts, addressing all their needs across various trade lanes, and conducting routine follow
up.
Engaging in the entire sales cycle, from drafting proposals and negotiating rates to finalizing deals, including managing dead freight contracts and ensuring they are effectively utilized.
Aim to meet or exceed sales targets in different trade and service areas.
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and building strong relationships through consistent communication and meetings is crucial, alongside swiftly addressing any customer complaints.
Identifying customer requirements to offer customized solutions, responding to inquiries daily, generating new business through referrals, and collaborating with other departments are key aspects of this position.
Keeping abreast of market trends, competitive activities, and product developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
Contributing to marketing strategy development and managing a customer database with detailed sales activity records are also important responsibilities.

Key Requirements

At least a Diploma or higher, with
sales experience in the freight shipping/forwarding industry.
Strong communication skills and good track record of sales in freight shipping.
Independent, capable in managing their time and able to manage client relationships.
