The Group Finance Manager is the lead finance business partner for the organization and has responsibilities covering all aspects of financial management, performance management, financial accounting, budgeting, corporate reporting, etc.

The incumbent needs to have sound technical as well as management skills and is able to lead a team consisting of finance professionals with varied, in-depth or niche technical knowledge and abilities, consolidating their work and ensuring its quality and accuracy, especially for reporting purposes.


The Finance Manager is expected to provide sound financial advice and counsel on working capital, financing or the financial position of the organization by synthesizing internal and external data and studying the economic environment.

The incumbent will have a key role in implementing best practices in order to identify and manage all financial and business risks and to meet the organization's desired business and fiscal goals.

He/She is expected to have a firm grasp of economic and business trends and to implement work improvement projects that are geared towards quality, compliance and efficiency in finance.


Responsibilities:


  • Consolidate financial reports for management and statutory reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Prepare and review of Yearend Group Annual Report and Subsidiaries Financial Statements.
  • Participate in annual budgetary exercise.
  • Review and perform variance analysis on subsidiaries' budgeting, forecasting vs actual results.
  • Perform riskbased audits of business processes on the areas of financial, operations, IT and compliances.
  • Manage treasury activities in FX management, bank account management, cash and liquidity management and intercompany funding based on group treasury policies.
  • Review and analyse cash positions and cash flow forecasts to ensure an optimal level of cash in each entity.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other relevant government authorities
  • Organization management, clear guidance and support of accounting staffs
  • Provide supports to other stakeholders in relations to ad hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Work with respective division and key stakeholders in longterm strategy formation, revenue budget setting process, funding request and the identification of new opportunities for the business.
  • Support in special projects and processes improvement initiatives
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:


  • A good, recognized degree in accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience, with indepth knowledge of consolidation accounting, accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prior experience in a managerial role would be an advantage
  • Wellversed in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Prior experience with Navision accounting system is preferred but not required
  • Handles tasks independently and within tight deadline
  • Cando attitude, driven and passionate about work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
