Description
AlphaLab Capital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

As an Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating a wide range of events, ranging from large-scale conferences hosting 300+ attendees to intimate dinners with key industry stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing the entire event planning process, ensuring seamless execution, and creating memorable experiences that align with our company's vision and goals.


Things you could be working on:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Ecosystem to develop event concepts, themes, and objectives in line with AlphaLab Capital's vision and brand identity.
  • Plan and execute diverse events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, networking events, and dinners, catering to various audience sizes and preferences.
  • Conduct extensive research to identify suitable event venues, vendors, and suppliers while negotiating contracts and managing budgets effectively.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as catering, audiovisual equipment, guest registration, travel arrangements, and accommodations as required.
  • Coordinate with speakers, panelists, and special guests, ensuring their seamless integration into the event program and handling their requirements professionally.
  • Oversee event setup, teardown, and onsite coordination to guarantee smooth event operations and a positive attendee experience.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure eventrelated materials, including agendas, presentations, and handouts, are prepared and distributed on time.
  • Collect and analyse feedback from attendees, sponsors, and partners, providing insights to improve future events continually.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, event technology advancements, and innovative event concepts to enhance the overall event experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing events (including internships or volunteer work), showcasing strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for the crypto and blockchain ecosystem, technology, and venture capital, with an understanding of industry dynamics and trends.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring flawless event coordination and adherence to schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal teams, external partners, and event participants.
  • Proficiency in event management software , notion, etc) and tools to streamline processes and enhance event productivity.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problemsolve on the fly, and adapt to changing circumstances with a positive attitude.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and capable of working independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel to manage events onsite. The crypto industry really focuses on a number of key conferences throughout the year, and the working pace should be based on this.
