Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health is recruiting for an Associate Director, Consumer Business Intelligence Head APAC region for our Essential Health Franchise to be located in Singapore.


The Global Essential Health Business competes in several categories like Oral Care, Wound Care, Baby Care and Women's health in both Developed and Emerging Markets, leveraging our global brands like LISTERINE, Band Aid, Johnsons, Aveeno, Stayfree, OB etc.

The Associate Director, Consumer Business Intelligence guides global strategies, innovation, equity and communication by leveraging consumer insights and data analytics.

She/he leverages data and analytics to help drive the business and translates learnings into actionable recommendations that drive business growth.


This is a leadership role focused on influencing business strategy through insights and analytics and leading the transformation of the Consumer Business Intelligence function.


In this role you will:


  • PROVIDE strategic leadership and implementation of analytical solutions for global categories and operating units to drive growth objectives.
  • PARTNER w/ global, enterprisewide crossfunctional partners (e.g., marketing, finance, consumer, economic, customer & commercial, bottler execution and companywide data to create advanced analytical solutions across our global Consumer Health organization).
  • DEMONSTRATE a comprehensive understanding of the consumer goods and/or consumer healthcare industries so that you can explore, identify, & drive global innovation, competitive threat analysis, incremental opportunities, and other relevant ways of building our global business.
  • FORM & ACTION recommendations to senior leaders on business opportunities for growth and strategic success.
  • DEFINE & SHAPE megabrand core equity and deploy effectively to local regions.
  • BUILD, EXECUTE, & DELIVER a consumer & business intelligence learning plan that includes PRIMARY consumer learning, SECONDARY external analyses, and ADVANCED analytic exploration.
  • EXPLORE & IDENTIFY the drivers of growth for share, sales, GP and business performance reporting.
  • SHOW UP as a business partner, not just a market research specialist.
  • MANAGE complex business issues and help teams set strategic direction while remaining agile.
  • CREATE consensus and influence top leadership with experience at managing multicountry regions.
  • REAPPLY & SCALE resources, tools, and/or operations in order to maximize efficiency & external focus.
  • DEVELOP talent and inspire passionate leaders across the organization to deliver great work.
Qualifications


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Market Research, Social Sciences, Computer Science or Statistics is preferred
  • A Minimum 7+ years experience in Data Analytics / Market Research (Insights and Analytics) is required
  • CPG experience is required.
  • APAC Essential Health Category Experience Preferred (Mouthwash, Baby Care, Wound Care, Feminine Care)
  • A minimum of 3 years people management experience in leading and managing cross functional teams are required. Exposure to leading Program Managers, Data Scientists, Developers and Market Research/analytics professionals is preferred
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to drive multiple highprofile projects to successful completion and on time is required
  • Help manage a complex portfolio of brands and countries with clear articulation of role in portfolio to maximize growth
  • Demonstrated ability to influence crossfunctional and upper management to impact decisionmaking
  • Highly strategic business knowledge with the ability to appropriately use judgment and risktaking
  • Ability to identify challenges and opportunities for a business
  • Proven track record of driving business by leveraging both insights and analytics, especially digital analytics
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely
