Description

To provide supervision services to ensure the Contractors complies with the contract requirements and/or authorities' requirements;
To provide professional engineering services for reviews which shall include variation works;
To review all drawings and specifications, and highlight any discrepancies, nonworkable and/or missing details to authority and the Qualified Person (Design) [QP(D)] in a timely manner;
To provide all relevant endorsements required by authority, BCA, other statutory authorities and agencies;
To supervise all works or as directed by authority;
To provide personnel and ensure all site supervision services are carried out efficiently and professionally;
Any other professional engineering service and other services as set out in the scope of Services in this Tender and or as may be reasonably inferred; and Monitor safety and health including taking photos of unsafe acts and conditions and bringing to the authority attention.

Requirement:

The RE-Geotechnical shall have minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a geotechnical engineer, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works in bored piling and temporary works

The RE

Geotechnical shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore

The RE
-Geotechnical will lead site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG and/or the project consultants. He must possess good leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills.

Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.
Possesses strong supervision and leadership skills.
Must be willing to do shift work.
