Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the commercial operations of the dry bulk fleet, including the negotiation of charter parties and the fixing of cargoes.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient execution of all charter party agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ship owners, brokers, and customers.
  • Monitor market conditions and trends to ensure competitive rates and profitable operations.
  • Provide market insights and intelligence to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain an effective risk management strategy for the dry bulk fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with other departments, including operations, technical, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage a team of chartering executives and ensure their professional development.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in dry bulk chartering.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the international maritime industry and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
