Responsibilities:

Ensure financial wellbeing by providing timely and accurate analysis of financial results, impact of budget variances and financial forecast/trends
Direct and oversee all aspects of the financial accounting and reporting, and supervise cash management and related Funds
Develop and monitor policies and procedures within accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure effective internal controls are in place and complied with.
Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities including submission of reports to funding agencies, monitoring of funding drawdown and projects utilisation.
Keep abreast with new financial regulations and maintain professional network.
Oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely payment of employee compensation to all staff.
Safeguard the total assets through ensuring a tight control on key financial processes.
Develop financial strategies that drive the medium to long term financial sustainability.

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent and preferably a Chartered Accountant
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP S4 HANA is preferred
Competency in Financial Reporting Standards, tax legislations and statutory filing requirements
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills
Able to work with management and staff of all levels
Committed, diligent and meticulous
