Established in 1992, the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is the only full-fledged communication school in Singapore and is a world-class centre of excellence with an international faculty, state-of-the-art research laboratories, and global institutional affiliations.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance: Keep track of expenditure and remaining budget in an organized manner, ensure that spending is optimized and on track with respect to goals set for the grant; prepare financial and progress reports, presentations, as well as other researchrelated documents
Basic research: conduct literature reviews pertaining to film studies, cultural theory and ecocriticism
Data collection: assist in the identification of relevant motion pictures and similar cultural products for the purposes of the research project
Data analysis: analyse and discuss the cultural, ideological and aesthetic dimensions of contemporary popular filmmaking

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in film and media studies or related fields
Good IT skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and a video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro
Good academic writing skills
A good team player with effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with faculty, staff, students and external collaborators
